Intersectionality
At Embodying Equity, we apply an intersectional lens to Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) work. Embodiment
Embodiment refers to lived experience within the body. Our work recognizes the profound impact of systems of power, privilege, and oppression on bodies as they live within communities and organizations. Practices centered around embodiment allow us to hold space for these truths, explore their workings and cultivate more transformative changes at the individual and organizational level.
Radical Imagination
We believe that culture-shifting requires a commitment to creativity and radical (i.e. out-of-the-box ideas) imagination. This is something we’ll do together.
